 Pastor James Matchette
Lead Pastor
Pastor James Matchette is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University (2001) majoring in Christian ministries with a minor in Biblical Literature. Pastor James is from Indiana originally where he was a pastor for two years before moving here to Southern Maryland to work on staff at New Life Church in
La Plata. While here Pastor James was blessed to meet and marry his wife Katie Matchette and is thrilled to be sharing a life of ministry and service with her. In early 2006 Pastor James took a new step in ministry asThe Vine Community Church welcomed him as their Pastor and he and Katie are both honored to be a part of The Vine Community Church family.
The Important Stuff:
Pastor James loves to play golf, has a weak spot for movie theatre popcorn (with lots of butter), and never misses an opportunity to watch one of his Midwest sports teams such as the Cubs, the Colts, or the Indiana Hoosiers. Katie spends most of her free time exercising so, "she can eat as many cookies as she wants." Her words not ours. |
